Relevant experience
Relevant experience required for the post of Sr. Project Engineer in the disciplines of Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology Mechanical and MCA are given below. Details of work done in these areas are required to be furnished in the column “Nature of Work” in the Employment History in online application form. The candidate should specify the area/domain in which he/ she has experience, nature of work done in that area/domain and duration of experience.

Other Conditions
1. Duration of appointment: The appointment will be for One Year. The term may be extended upto a maximum of Three years based on the performance of the candidate and the requirement of the Centre.
2. Age Limit:
a) Sl. No. 1 & 2 (Project Engineer I & II) - 30 Yrs
b) Sl. No. 3 (Sr. Project Engineer) - 33 Yrs
Age will be reckoned as on 01.02.2010.
3. Number of vacancies indicated is provisional and may vary at the time of actual selection. The Centre reserves the right not to fill up all the posts, if it so desires.
4. Selection.
Initial screening will be based on academic record and experience requirement wherever specified. Short listed candidates shall be invited for test and interview. No interim correspondence will be entertained. Though the minimum eligibility for applying will be First Class with 60% marks in the qualifying examination, the Centre reserves the right to fix a higher percentage in the initial screening, if sufficient number of candidates with higher percentage marks are available.

Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates are exempted from Application Fee. However, they have to send attested copy of Caste Certificate by post along with the application duly indicating the Name and post on the reverse. Applications of candidates claiming SC / ST status will be considered for exemption from Application Fee, only if the duly attested Caste Certificate is received.
Candidates should ensure that they provide all requisite information in the prescribed format. Applications without the requisite information asked for in the prescribed format / without signature / without photograph / without copies of certificates and mark sheets/ proof of experience and applications received after due date will not be considered.
CDAC will not pay any money to meet the travelling expenses of the candidates for attending Test / Interview. However, bus fare by the shortest route will be reimbursed to SC / ST candidates whose place of residence as shown in the application is not directly connected with Trivandrum by Rail, or if they produce proof to the effect that they were denied free tickets by Railways for attending the Test / Interview, II Class to and fro train fare will be reimbursed to them on production of Railway Cash Receipt / Ticket Number / Bus ticket etc.
Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
