Senior Java developer needed for Health Care centric web based application development. We follow an agile iterative Scrum development process, so we're looking for a team player who is comfortable in a collaborative agile environment. The successful applicant must bring an in-depth and practiced development perspective with full software development life cycle perspective. This is a developer centric position. While there is a leadership aspect the successful candidate will lead largely by example and sharing strong technical skills and techniques with others. The successful candidate must be self motivated to provide strong contribution to the success of the team.
Contribute to system-level architectural discussions, reviews and provides feedback of requirements, design and test documents.
Primary activity is writing and debugging code to specifications.
Lead/participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback and technical expertise to other developers.
Prepare technical documentation and review requirements of the architectures for internal and client review.
Adhere to project plans and deadlines while demonstrating the ability to proactively alert management if planned targets are slipping.
Document file designs and program logic
Analyze system and programming logic and make revisions
Qualifications & Experience
5-7 years of experience in software development as well as the following technologies:
Java, J2EE, Drools 5, Web services, Struts, Tomcat
Significant experience with SQL Server. Experience with Eclipse IDE and Perforce source control are technical plusses.
Developers with Java or database certifications are welcome.
Experience in Health Information Management is a plus.
