Service Delivery Managers- IT - Software Engineer ( Australia / New Zealand )
Job Description:
The primary focus of the position is to proactively coordinate service delivery to our customers, in line with our clients service model which covers Managed IT Service Level Agreements, consulting or project services. Operationally, the position is responsible for staff supervision and mentoring, as part of employee professional development planning. Additional key areas of accountability are maintenance and development of administrative procedures, project management of internal and external projects and development of strong vendor relationships.
Working in a small dynamic team will on occasion require additional workload to cover multiple roles. The ability to multi-task and maintain customer and team expectations at all times is essential, as is a positive "can do" attitude. This position requires extensive experience in a technical team lead or operations role, to measure service levels and ensure best practice service delivery. It would be expected that experience in ITIL methodology and concepts would be brought to the role, in addition to best practice recommendations. Finally, it is anticipated that clients will receive a better understanding of technical issues and complex technical matters will be articulated clearly in a "non-technical" manner, due to a high level of business acumen.
Experience:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate knowledge of key principals and procedures
Strong skills with VMware, Cisco, HP, EMC and SonicWALL equipment would be beneficial. Industry qualifications such as MCSE, CCNA, VCP would be extremely advantageous.
